After the power coalition changed, the stock market got a circuit break

 


February 21, in Kathmandu. The stock market experiences a positive circuit break following the coalition's shift in power. The market saw a circuit break when the NEPSE index rose by 4%, or 79 points, from the day before. Three minutes into trading, the market was up 4%.
The circuit will break within the first hour of trading if there is a 4 percent gain or fall in the market. Following the circuit break, trading has been paused for 20 minutes. Securities valued at 148 million rupees have been exchanged thus far. Twenty minutes after the business is ceased, the market will reopen.
