In the remote municipality of Tinau, today is a day of grief, and the families of the jeep tragedy are receiving financial help.

 


Palpa on February 2. In remembrance of those who perished in Tuesday's jeep tragedy in Palpa, the Tinau rural municipality has declared a holiday.

All local level municipal offices and educational institutions have been granted a holiday in observance of the day of mourning, as decided by the village executive meeting.

The rural municipality's Ward No. 6 has had ten fatal jeep accidents. Five of them came from the municipality itself. A family of five would get $35,000, according to an announcement made by the rural municipality.

There were two deaths during treatment and eight deaths on the spot in this occurrence. We're now treating sixteen more injured folks.
